This piece is a brand kit for an influential Instagram account in the pets and animals space. Laika is a shelter pup living in Seattle, WA and was rescued by two aerospace engineers. The account focuses on spreading awareness of adopting shelter and rescue dogs, as well as encouraging science education.

Laika was named after the first dog in space, so the design, typography and other elements reflect a retro futuristic, space-age feel.
